Brittney Rae Burns grew up on a small family farm near Kickapoo, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she majored in in Human Development and Family Studies, and graduated with Honors in 2003. From there, Burns attended DePaul University College of Law where she received the CALI Award for Future Excellence for her instruction in Street Law and a Certificate in Criminal Law.
After graduating from DePaul in 2006, Burns worked as a Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Chicago before joining the law firm in 2008. Burns has been licensed to practice in Illinois since 2007 and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. |
